Newbrook Point Hope: Modern Living in Charleston’s Thriving Cainhoy Peninsula

Newbrook Point Hope is a 264-unit, garden-style apartment community located on Charleston’s Cainhoy Peninsula within the Point Hope master-planned development. Built in 2021, this modern property offers an array of upscale amenities, including a resort-inspired saltwater pool with sundecks, poolside cabanas, pickleball courts, and a serene community pond. Residents also enjoy a tech-infused fitness center, coworking stations, a social lounge, and pet-friendly features like the on-site “Doggy Paddle” dog park and a dog washing station.

SIREP identified Newbrook Point Hope as a rare off-market acquisition opportunity in the highly sought-after Daniel Island submarket of Charleston, SC. As the newest multifamily community within the 9,000-acre Point Hope Development, Newbrook benefits from its prime location just five minutes from Daniel Island. The development predominantly features single-family homes, retail, and office space while preserving approximately 4,500 acres of wetlands, ensuring long-term supply constraints. With high-quality unit finishes such as stainless steel appliances, 9’ ceilings, and full-size washers and dryers, Newbrook Point Hope offered significant value. At pro forma rents of $2,131 per month, the property provided a 47% discount compared to the average cost of homeownership in the development, where home prices average ~$536K.
